QDT is released!

QDT, the QL desktop program is available now.

£41.50 + carriage

This is the new QL desktop. It is self installing and fully configurable. It features a sophisticated icon drawing program and will transform the way that you use your system. System requirements are SMSQ/E version 3 or higher / extended resolution / 4 Mb memory / 3mb hard disk drive space free.

The program, as supplied, consists of :

1 x Floppy disk with the bare installation files

1 x CD ROM with the installation files, full documentation in Adobe Acrobat format, extra background wallpaper files and other extra programs.

This is a brand new game from Wolfgang Lenerz. A fast and addictive game in which you have to try to remove the balls from the playing area faster than they arrive. It takes full advantage of the sound and colour features of SMSQ/E but is still playable on machines without these facilities.

SMSQ/E v 3.13 is here now !

The latest version of SMSQ/E (v 3.13) for all platforms is now available. This new version has been extensively reworked to give the user and the programmer access to a whole new interface and a new way of using the colours and icons.

Many of the old Pointer Environment programs have already been updated and work continues on the rest to bring into line.

QPC 2 v3 has the ability to swap text files between the Q Menu scrap function and the Windows clip-board. The works in both directions so that text sent to scrap will appear in the Windows clip-board and vice versa. This allows the easy transfer of data between the two formats. In addition to this it can access the DOS side of the PC's hard drive and transfer files between QDOS and PC partitions. It also allows the use of scrolling mice. New colour Window Manager allows for the full use of colour in supported P.E. programs. Many programs have been updated to make use of this facility.
